West Wittering Beach

West Wittering Beach is 54 acres of sand, pools, saltings and sand dunes set aside for wildlife and your enjoyment by the West Wittering Preservation Trust.

As well as enough sand and shingle beach to absorb the many visitors it draws, there is a café and public conveniences.

The bathing beach is awarded the European Blue Flag for water quality.

There is a beach safety team on hand as well as a safety boat. St John's Ambulance are in attendance on Summer weekends

2XS offers windsurf, kitesurf and Standup paddle board hire and tuition.

Children can fish for crabs in the many salt water pools that lie amongst the sand dunes.

The beach is approximatively a fifteen minute stroll from the camping site.

Most of the beach is 'dog friendly'.

The beach has a large car park open 365 days a year but guests of Nunnington Farm are recommended to walk or cycle to the beach.

Although the beach can get get busy, if you are prepared to walk a few hundred yards you can get away from the rush quite easily.
